If you don´t understand Swedish you have the right to an interpreter when you visit the health service. Say that you need an interpreter when you make your appointment. The County Council will see that there is an interpreter on the spot when you go.

To make sure that the interpreting is done in the right way, it is important for care providers under the County Council always to employ trained interpreters. Staff and relatives must not be used as interpreters.
Blekinge County Council has agreements with special companies for the provision of interpreters. It is very important that we use the interpreters with whom we have agreements.
